Max Hoell is a fashion and portrait photographer born and raised in Germany.

At a young age, Max was encouraged by his artistic mother to pick up a camera and capture the people and places they were visiting while traveling. Since then, photo­graphy sparked an undeniable passion, and in 2012 he decided to move to New York City. Max quickly began assisting photo­graphers such as Daniel Jackson and Frederike Hellwig, before becoming Alexi Lubomirski’s first assistant.

After five years with Alexi, Max distinct that he would like to pursue his career to evolve his aesthetic. Whether it’s analog or digital, he finds the unique beauty of his subjects with his timeless yet modern touch. Based between New York and Europe, Max savors the classic simplicity of an image.
